BACKGROUND

Active Finance was founded by two average kiwi guys in November 2000 who saw that there was a place in the financial market for a company to specialise in and focus on individual financial requirements. "We felt that no one catered to customers on a personal level fully and that most financial institutions had intimidating and very uniformed feels about them" says managing director Craig Johnson. So with this in mind Active Finance was formed. The philosophy was (and still is) a simple one, to create a happy, friendly, understanding, and easy way for people of all situations to obtain finance at competitive rates with ease. The ideas of people being able to apply over the phone or on-line and once approved have a mobile representative visit them in the comfort of their home have been realised with Active Finance.
